Furacilin Metabolite ELISA Kit
Qualitative or quantitative analysis of Furacilin Metabolite in samples of poultry tissues (including fish, shrimp, chicken, pork, liver, etc), eggs, and egg powder etc.
Summary
Nitrofurans, which are effective against a wide range of bacteria, include furazolidone, nitrofurazone, nitrofurantoin and related compounds. The food and drug administration has prohibited all uses of nitrofuran drugs in food-producing animals because they pose a public health risk. Evidence indicates that the drugs may induce carcinogenic residues in animal tissues.
Use Principles
Furacilin Metabolite ELISA Kit is an indirect competitive enzyme-labeled immunoassay. The Furacilin Metabolite antigen is precoated on the wells. The precoated antigen compete the Furacilin Metabolite antibody (Antibody Solution) with Furacilin Metabolite in the sample, Furacilin Metabolite antibody binds to the Furacilin Metabolite Enzyme Conjugate. After the color development of TMB Substrate, the absorbance value of the sample is negatively correlated with the Furacilin Metabolite contained in it. Compared with the standard curve and multiplied by its corresponding dilution factor, the content of Furacilin Metabolite in the sample can be calculated.
