T-2 Toxin Immunoaffinity Column

Product overview
T-2 toxin (T-2) is a fungal toxin produced by various Fusarium species. It mainly pollutes grain crops such as wheat, barley, corn, and their products, posing a significant threat to human health and animal husbandry. T-2 toxin mainly affects the function of blood, liver, kidneys, pancreatic muscles, and lymphocytes. The general clinical symptoms after T-2 toxin poisoning include anorexia, vomiting, diarrhea, growth arrest, reproductive and neurological dysfunction, etc.
Product principle
The basis of the determination is antigen antibody reaction, where the antibody is connected to the column. After pre-treatment, the sample slowly passes through the T-2 toxin immunoaffinity column, where the endotoxin binds to the antibody. Afterwards, the immunoaffinity column is washed to remove any other unrelated substances that have not been bound. Wash T-2 toxin with 2% acetic acid methanol, then inject it into the analytical instrument or derivatize it and inject it into the analytical instrument for detection.
