Citrinin is a mycotoxin primarily produced as a secondary metabolite by Penicillium, Aspergillus, and Monascus. Citrinin not only has antibacterial effects, but also is a harmful mycotoxin to humans and animals, with significant hepatotoxicity, nephrotoxicity, and other toxic effects. It mainly exists in agricultural products such as grains, red yeast products, corn, and rice. It poses a significant threat to the health of any animal.
Product principle
The basis of the determination is antigen antibody reaction, where the antibody is connected to the column. The Citrinin in the sample is extracted, filtered, diluted, and slowly passed through the Citrinin immunoaffinity column. The endotoxin binds to the antibody in the immunoaffinity column, and then the immunoaffinity column is washed to remove any unrelated substances that have not been bound. Wash Citrinin with methanol and inject it into the analytical instrument for detection.
