Given the potential health hazards to consumers, this trend is concerning. The global livestock industry uses approximately 64000 tons of antibiotics annually, and although they have therapeutic effects on animals, their residues still exist in dairy products. Eating antibiotics can cause allergic reactions, intestinal problems, carcinogenic effects, mutations, and teratogenicity. They can also cause significant problems for the dairy industry by inhibiting the interference of fermentation agents in the fermentation process of cheese and yogurt.<br \/>\nTo ensure food safety standards, regulatory agencies around the world have set mandatory maximum residue limits (MRLs) for antibiotics in milk and dairy products. Therefore, accurate testing is absolutely essential for the dairy industry. The testing methods used in the laboratory include HPLC LC-MS\/MS\u3001 Microbial inhibition testing ELISA and lateral flow testing to ensure compliance with MRL.<br \/>\nHowever, the only testing method that allows on-site testing is lateral flow testing (rapid testing).<br \/>\nDairy feedback states that drivers inspect samples from each milk producer on site and decide whether to accept the goods on the spot, which is more convenient, practical, and saves waste. In this way, the quality of milk is guaranteed in the early stages, and dairy farmers will be more cautious when using antibiotics.<br \/>\nThis is the advantage of lateral flow testing, as they are the best choice for obtaining accurate, fast, and simple results.<\/p>\n<p>VNYA is developing more multi in one test strips to save users testing time and complete the testing of multiple antibiotics in one step!<\/p>\n<p>We use the immunological principle of antigen antibody specific binding to quickly determine antibiotic residues in milk samples. Our detection reagent consists of two parts: one is an antibody labeled with colloidal gold freeze-dried in micropores, and the other is a test strip with four capture bands. The control line C on the test strip is located above the three detection lines T1, T2, and T3. T1 is used to detect antibiotic 1, T2 is used to detect antibiotic 2, and T3 is used to detect antibiotic 3. When the sample is added to micropores containing freeze-dried reagents and mixed well, the antibody will bind to three types of drugs that may be present in the sample. After inserting the test strip, the liquid will penetrate vertically upwards along the test strip and sequentially pass through the four capture bands on the test strip. If the content of antibiotics in the sample is lower than the detection limit of the test strip, the T1, T2, and T3 lines will show color \u2265 the C line, and the test result will be negative; On the contrary, if the content of \u03b2 &#8211; lactam, cephalosporin, or tetracycline antibiotics in the sample is equal to or higher than the detection limit of the test strip, the T1, T2, and T3 lines show color&lt;the C line, or the T1, T2, and T3 lines do not show color, and the test result is positive.<\/p>\n<p>Want to learn more about product details?
