In fact, relevant institutions in various countries have always attached great importance to the safety of edible oil. The annual food sampling and testing plan of the State Administration for Market Regulation of China covers key conventional indicators such as aflatoxin, benzo [a] pyrene, zearalenone, plasticizers, heavy metals, etc., comprehensively ensuring the food safety of the public. In response to the constantly changing challenges of food safety, the China Risk Assessment Center has added risk assessment projects such as trichloropropanol ester and glycidyl ester in 2024, reflecting the country’s high sensitivity to food safety issues.<\/p>\n

These potential risk substances may be hidden in multiple stages of edible oil production, processing, storage, transportation, etc. Any negligence may result in irreversible consequences.<\/p>\n

For example, mineral oil pollution can be solved by strengthening administrative supervision by relevant national departments. However, in the face of risks such as aflatoxin, benzo [a] pyrene, plasticizers, heavy metals, etc. that may arise during production and processing due to environmental, process, and other factors, it is even more necessary for the quality control departments and regulatory agencies of enterprises to remain vigilant and conduct daily rigorous monitoring.<\/p>\n

Although there are clear national standards and testing methods as guidance, rapid detection methods such as reagent kits\/test strips are also commonly used for laboratory rapid screening based on detection efficiency considerations, meeting the needs of large-scale sample testing. However, these methods still have many shortcomings in terms of detection efficiency, accuracy, and stability.<\/p>\n
In this context, the magnetic particle chemiluminescence immunoassay method, which is known as the gold standard in medical testing, has begun to demonstrate its unique advantages in edible oil detection. The characteristics of not requiring complex preprocessing and direct sampling make the detection process simpler and faster, greatly improving detection efficiency. And its high sensitivity and stability ensure the accuracy and reliability of the detection results.<\/p>\n
